Apple Watch reaches 100 Million Users

A detailed Study by the research company Above Avalon reveals that Apple has succeeded in selling about 100 million smartwatches to consumers worldwide. This makes only 10% of the total registered iPhone customers, currently about 1 billion.


But such figures are not poor at all, given how the Apple Watch was introduced in only 2015 and is among the most luxurious smartwatches on either the market. In comparison, 2020 was a fantastic year for Apple Watch with more than 30 million purchases combined in about one year over 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The US has been the company's most beneficial market since the watch first came into service. Almost 35 per cent of the Apple Watch users combine the clever wearable with their iPhones, according to the below Avalon survey.

But the watch also has plenty of space to expand on the foreign market, but at the other hand. The watch is the fourth biggest seller of Apple items to trail after iPad, iPhone and MacBooks. Nevertheless, the researchers predict that these numbers will definitely be displaced by 2022.

The numbers will also change somewhat as the global pandemic has stabilized.
