Elon Musk is no longer the richest person in the world

Since Tesla Inc. stock on Monday slid 8.6%, wiping off its net worth of $15.2 billion, Elon Musk is not the wealthiest man in the world. Bezos returned as the richest man in the world, with a net value of $191.2 billion.

Tesla's decline was partially affected by Musk's weekend remarks that bitcoin prices and Ether's smaller rival seemed "high" two weeks after Tesla announced that he had added 1,5 billion dollars in Bitcoin.

Musk ranks second among the world's 500 richest people on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, worth $183.4 billion in net value. Even though Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos reclaimed the high position, his capital felled by US$ 3.7 billion to US$ 186.3 billion.

Elon also tweeted earlier this Monday that the company's Brand Y SUV Standard Range will still feature "from the menu," after Electrek has made speculation about the withdrawal of the models from its online configurator on its electric vehicles web site.

Two billionaires changed places this year when Tesla's value dropped. Since Musk obtained $850 million from his Space X rocket corporation at the beginning of last months, he overtook Bezos briefly, valuing the company at $74 billion, 60% off the August.

This year, Tesla grew in size and hit a market value of $700 billion last month, adding a value larger than that of Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, GM, and Ford.
