Hafeez Speaks Up on Reports of Feud With Sarfaraz

In last night's PSL match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators, the widely reported Twitter rivalry between Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfaraz Ahmed spoke of the infighting brothership. Mohammad Hafeez, the old all-rounder rumor, squashed the rumors of a riot between the two and said that Sarfaraz was so fond of him as most cricketers.

"I respect Sarfaraz like other cricketers. So far I've never had cricketer issues. I respect everyone really and don't compete with anybody," said Hafeez.

A recent Twitter exchange took place between Hafeez and Sarfaraz. In the series T20I, Hafeez lauded Mohammad Rizwan's brilliant century against South Africa and declared him the wicket-keeper number one on the side. Sarfaraz did not take it lightly and thought it was aggression against him because he was the first national side wicketkeeper.

Since the situation has been more widespread, Sarfaraz has said that Hafeez is his true friend and has immense regard for him.

Hafeez was a winner for Lahore Qalandars, leading Quetta Gladiators to help Lahore climb up the ladder against Sarfaraz. Quetta, instead, is at the bottom of the table and fails.

In order to win the playoff spots, Sarfaraz would need to mobilize his forces quickly and recover. Lahore is on the driving seat, on the other side, and is looking to maintain fine form.
