Instagram Stories now get a TikTok-Style Vertical Feed

Alessandro Paluzzi first spotted this new development and shared a Twitter with screenshot. The screenshot indicates that the developed feature allows users to swipe stories on Instagram up and down. It works as Reels and TikTok inspired.

Mimicking Reels will in some sense unify different feeds of Instagram. If stories were a vertical experience, this would meet not only reels, as well as the original feature of Instagram is to scroll the feed. It is important to remember here that IGTV still works some more differently, the videos are buried in profiles in the vertical grid.

Instagram also checks updates that can be applied to the posts, what kind of content as well as how the stories can look.
