Multan Sultans appoint a new Captain for PSL 2021

The current captain of the Multan Sultans has been confirmed as Pakistan's captain of the test, Mohammed Rizwan. Multan  Sultan's decision was to replace the franchise captain Shan Masood and they agreed to name the captain for PSL 2021 for the current draft pick Rizwan.

Rizwan has lately been in excellent shape and scoring for Pakistan across formats. In the third T20I, he scored a fine match-winning knock against New Zealand and proceeded with a rich twist in the T20I series against South Africa which scored a splendid hundred and a half-century in the series.

Rizwan was part of Karachi Kings' title winner squad in PSL 5, but his chances in 11 were reduced because Karachi had preferred to field the western Indian cricketer in his place, Chadwick Walton. The game T20I in Rizwan was not highly regarded and many specialists thought it was more suitable for the longer game style. With his outstanding fight and remarkable handcuffs behind stumps, Rizwan silenced his critic.

He received a man of the series award from the amazing series of Rizwan against South Africa. In his three-game T20I series, he created history by being the top-rated Pakistanis, scored 197 times. He has been in the top of the ranks of ICC T20I Batsmen with his outstanding ranks with the Bat, where he now holds the 42nd position.

In the hopes of overcoming a dishonest defeat in playoffs, this season Rizwan will take the Sultan Multan to their first-ever final.
