PSL-6 2021 opening Ceremony will not be Broadcast Live

The opening ceremony of PSL 6 does not take place live, according to sources, but rather that the PSL 6 ceremony is pre-recorded and broadcast until the tournament's first match begins.

Usually, the PSL 6 opening ceremony is performed live before the tournament's opening match and that it is the official beginning of the tournaments. This year, in view of the Covid-19 condition in the country, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed not to conduct the ceremony live.

As PSL is kept in an organic circle, it is impossible for people to reach the stadium from outside the bubble. In the current scenario, musicians, management and large-scale events will be too great a challenge for PCB.

The PCB kept confidential the specifics of the inaugural ceremony and the artists are no news about it. This event is however pre-registered and broadcast from 20 February, until Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings play their first match.

In the previous ceremonies the fans had no care and PSL had a backlash during past ceremonies. This year the PSL 6 national anthem was also a stir among the PSL believers and a grain of salt would be seen at the opening ceremonies.
