Dale Steyn apologises IPL fans for the PSL support after a strong backlash

South African legend, Dale Steyn, apologize to the Indian Premier League for his comment (IPL). Steyn has recently spoken at an interview about the effect of the money in the IPL and who actually is part of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Steyn said that PSL focuses on cricket, while IPL controls cash. He revealed that he chose this year to refrain from participating in the IPL.

IPL fans over the border did not take his remarks kindly, and he was exposed to several trolls online.

Steyn apologize to Twitter for his comments and said that his remarks were not intended to undermine and excused fans for hurting them.

This season, Steyn belongs to the Quetta Gladiators team. In the tournament, Quetta still wins and Steyn hopes to provide a boost to his fortunes.

Steyn said he enjoyed his time with the PSL and that he will continue to play in various T20 leagues worldwide but preferred the IPL.

Steyn was one of the best bowlers in the history of IPL. Since its inception, Steyn has been involved with four IPL teams but has been mostly connected to the Bangalore Royal Challengers. In 95 matches, he took 97 wickets at an average rate of 25,85 and a 6,91 economy.
