PM Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi also tests positive for COVID-19

Prime Minister Imran Khan's wife and First Lady Bushra Bibi tested for coronavirus, as well, it surfaced hours after the government announced the virus was contracted by Prime Minister Bushra Bibi.

Special Assistant of the Prime Minister in Overseas Pakistan Syed Zulfi Bukhari confirmed that the first lady was contracting the virus and wished her a quick recovery.


Similarly, PTI senator Faisal Javed, on Twitter, confirmed that Bushra Bibi had tested for coronavirus positive because he wanted her a swift recovery.

However, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Prime Minister's Special Assistant to Health Minister, said the first female health condition was "fit and good." Their health is not currently revealed.

He said that after the Prime Minister reported a lot of speculation, particularly regarding vaccinations, that positive breaches have taken place and he wants to make some clarity.


"First of all, it is important to know when and what changes are seen in the vaccines.

Dr. Sultan stated that in the case of a two-dose vaccine, just two weeks after a second shot are antibodies that are appropriate to fight the infection.
