Realme unveils 108MP Camera for upcoming Realme 8 Series

In 2019, Realme held an Innovation Camera Event where the first 64MP quad-camera phone was showcased using the ISOCELL Bright GW1 module from Samsung. This year Realme has launched their first 108MP camera with a 9 to 1-pixel linking tech ISOCELL HM2 by Samsung and up to 3 times a lossless zoom. This sensor will be the launch of the next Realme 8 series.

The ISOCELL HM2 is a 1/1,52" pixel and Super-PD autofocus sensor with 0,7 μm of pixel size. It can capture videos up to 4K@120fps at a maximum resolution of 12000 to 9000 pixels.

The 3x loss-free zoom sensor helps remember things and colors by taking 12MP images and mapping the zooming area without over-reinforcing. The processing of images is faster as 8 consecutive 12MP shots are required and in a simple algorithm.

The camera also features a new Starry mode for time-lapse film astrophotography. Standard videos of this nature are captured with professional cameras through many clips. The videos would then be edited on a computer. To simplify the method, Realme uses a time-lapse video algorithm.

The Tilt Time-lapse video, which uses an algorithm to record Flip images and videos, is another fascinating feature. The new camera mode lets you directly from the camera settings pick the angle, location, and boke scale. Furthermore, Realme introduces new portrait filters such as Neon Portrait, AI Color Portrait, and Dynamic Bokeh Portrait.
