Remaining PSL 6 matches likely to be held in this May

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), after cases of COVID-19, were identified in the bio-secure bubble, seeks to identify an appropriate window for the remaining 20 matches in PSL 6.

It is confirmed that the Board is considering Mai 2021 as a probable window for the remaining matches, but the Indian Premier League (IPL), which usually ends in June, will cause problems.

A source said that the PCB may "opt for a window in the second week of May following the series against Zimbabwe," but it could change the date until September or December 2021, before the tour to New Zealand in Pakistan.

Firstly, it is extremely likely that a number of foreign players opt for a bashful Indian Premier League if the matches are scheduled for May.

In this respect, it is not available for Chris Lynn, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, Chris Gayle, Ben Cutting, David Miller.

There are few choices for the PCB to select with COVID-19 threatening to unleash speculated the third wave into the mix.

PCB CEO, Wasim Khan, argues in this connection that the board is exploring with stakeholders available options and that a decision will be taken in the next few days.
