Sindh Police struggles to returned 'hacked' Twitter account

Sindh Police sent a letter to the Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency, claiming it has been "hacked" and has regained its Twitter account.

The FIA was "requested to bring legal action against the hacker," according to the letters written and sent by the Sindh Police Department Director Project Information & Technology.

"The official Twitter account of Sindh Police DMC [Digital Media Cell] i.e. @sindhpolicedmc was hacked and modified under a new name i.e. sindhpolicedmc8 and run by an unauthorizing anonymous person," the letter reads.

The new Twitter account of the Sindh Police shared the original letter to the FIA.
