US company wants to establish a Tech City in KP

The interest in large-scale Khyber Pakhtunkhwa investment is expressed in an American company IT Afiniti. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the company wants to develop a Tech City. Zia Chishti, a global investor and head of the American IT Company Afiniti, called on CEO Mahmood Khan to talk about investment in IT.


The participants included Taimur Saleem Jhagra and Akbar Ayub Khan, Kamran Bangash and other related officials. KP's Cabinet members included Taimur Saleem Jhagra. Zia Chishti shows interest in KP investment, saying his company is planning to set up a Tech City in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chief Minister of the government, Mahmood Khan, said on the occasion, 'The provincial government has taken the result-orientated measures under a well-developed approach that will provide the people maximum job opportunities by attracting a maximum of confidential investment to the province.


Initial potential for the new Tech City will be 10,000 to 15,000 persons involved in IT. According to Zia Chishti, over 50,000 IT graduates will have access to work through this project.

A joint committee will be formed between KP Government and Afiniti Company, which would identify the appropriate location of the Tech City proposed.
