Whatsapp Testing 'Disappearing Photos' feature like Instagram

Until launch, WhatsApp will test some functionality on the beta edition. WhatsApp has revealed another functionality that will shortly be introduced "disappearing images." WaBetaInfo has posted the function information that shows when the recipient opens and exits the chat window that a picture will disappear.

In the media edit area, we can see a picture to post, according to the shared WaBetaInfo photo. Next to the textbox "Add Caption," a "blue button." A pop-up alert appears when you click on it, "This media will vanish when you leave this conversation." This message appears.

You must select images from the gallery to send as a missing photo. The blue clock-like icon must be taped and will show next to the bar "Add a caption" and submit the disappearing picture to a contact when the image is selected.

The latest photos which go away are similar to the picture and video feature personality in Instagram. If you open a missing photo or video after quitting the conversation again on Instagram, you won't get the message back into your Instagram if you're allowed to replay the message.

Furthermore, WaBetaInfo indicated that WhatsApp cannot share or save the self-destructive images. A WhatsApp receiver would be more easily unwilling, or to forward the images to other friends, to save the photo in the screen gallery. WaBetaInfo has reported that WhatsApp has not yet introduced a screenshot detection for self-destruction pictures. Nevertheless, the receiver will take screenshots of a missing photo as it opens and the sender would not have be informed.

Whatsapp officially works on all versions of iOS and Android. But no information is available about when this feature will finally be introduced by the company for all users.
