On the same day on the 29th of March, Xiaomi announced the latest fitness band for its upcoming Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi MIX launches. New Band 6 with new features and improvements is planned but the interface appears not to have changed.
My band 6 announced last week in a picture that the band is almost the same style as its successor. The magnetic loading cable of the Mi band 6 is the same as the previous one. The Mi Band 6 was introduced in a video teaser by Abi Go, Xiaomi's Head of Product Marketing and Global.

Help for the detection of blood oxygen levels (SpO2 monitoring) should be included in the upcoming Mi Band 6 functionality. It was unexpected that the Mi Band 5 came out last year and that version didn't have such a feature. The report also revealed that it is available in regular and NFC models for up to thirty sports modes on a bigger screen.
Mi Band 6 shall be released shortly after its official launch on 29 March as Mi Smart Band 6 outside the Republic of China.
