‘Current management failed to produce even a single player’ Aaqib Javed

Aaqib Javed, a former test cricketer, said Pakistan's existing team management struggled to produce a single player.

Javed blamed reporters here on Saturday for mixing up players without having a proper strategy.

"No specific policy on selection exists. Many players were checked, but no results were obtained from Iftikhar Ahmed to Hussain Talat. In the last two years, this management has not managed to produce any player."

"One page should be the captain, coach, and selector. You don't know who'd play, it's just around the corner, Asif or Danish and the World Cup T20," he added.

Aaqib said people had the fullest victory Pakistan had over South Africa even though they knew they played without their full strength. "Pakistan performed well, but second strength was played by South Africa. See, it was not nice to lose Pakistan in Zimbabwe now," he said.

It is important to remember that, by 19 races in the 119-running chase, Pakistan lost Zimbabwe in the second T20I on Friday at Harare Sports Club. T20I is scheduled for tomorrow at the same venue for the third and season.
