Driving Feature of Google Assistant is Now Expanding in More Countries

More countries could soon follow the US by getting the Google Driving Assistant feature. The Driving Mode feature was introduced in the US in 2020 and is operational now in the United Kingdom, even though a few more countries are ready to launch.

The official help page showed that it is only available in the United States in English. This is to clarify that few characteristics are not available in all languages or in all countries. If this feature is deployed worldwide, it is still not clear.

The Google Assistant Driving Mode is a feature that helps users who drive, make or accept calls and send messages using a voice wizard to hear audio notifications on their compatible Android smartphone.

This feature replaces the Auto mode, used on Android smartphones before. It is designed to guarantee driving safety so that the user can execute tasks only with the voice. With at least 4.0GB of RAM, the software is compatible with Android 9.0 or higher. Unfortunately, this feature's landscape mode won't work. Therefore, the user must make sure that his smartphone is in portrait mode before accessing the Google Assistant Driving Feature.

Hundreds of injuries and sometimes extreme kills have been experienced during driving calls. It is well known. Therefore the Google Driving Mode is designed to help a driver receive or make phone calls and perform other activities without disturbing him.
