Facebook CEO Phone Number Appears Among Leaked Data of Users

According to most recent investigations, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, phone number is one of the personal data leaked in a low-level forum online. The data includes its name, location, marital details, date of birth, and user identification for Facebook.

Cybersecurity analysts estimated that about a half-billion Facebook users' personal details, including their phone numbers, were published on the website of hackers. Full name, place, birthday, email addresses, and phone and relationship status are provided as a detail.

Facebook CEO Zuckerberg, along with co-founders Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz, was identified by cyber researcher Dave Walker as one of the 533 million users who shared their personal information on a forum.

Andy Stone, Facebook Speaker said: "These are the old data recorded in 2019 previously. In August 2019, we found and resolved this issue." But Zuckerberg's knowledge was not a word shared by him.

Stone said, "We eliminated the right of individuals to locate people directly via Facebook and Instagram using their phone number in 2019, which could be used with advanced Technological Code to mimic Facebook and to give them a phone number to find out the users they belonged to."

"From the #FacebookLeak 533M of the people in the leak, the irony is that Mark Zuckerberg is unfortunately also included in the leak." Walker tweeted.

Hackers have stolen data from 106 countries, including phone numbers, Facebook IDs, full names, sites, birthdates, and email addresses, according to this publication.
