Google Assistant Driving Mode is Now Available in These Countries

Just recently, we told you that Google's driving assistant feature in more countries would be available. It has only been available in the United States since its inception and then in the United Kingdom. After several months of growth, the fact that the mode for the Assistant driving is ready for more audiences seems like Google is optimistic. Officially Google revealed its mode of driving in five more countries.

In a blog posted by Google, the organization announced that the latest countries to obtain this function are Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, India, and Singapore. Google also has shown that you need an Android 9.0 or higher smartphone with at least 4 GB of RAM to get this option. This is how this function will be activated.

Choose to drive mode

  • You must first opt in before using driving mode.
  • Say "Hey Google, open assistant settings" on your Android phone or tablet.
  • Tap Transport, then Drive mode.
  • Switch on mode driving.

Start the driving mode

  • Open the Google Maps app Maps on your Android phone.
  • Search or tap on a map for your destination.
  • Tap Start.

Google Assistant Driving helps users to listen, make or receive calls and deliver messages with a Voice Assistant on their compatible Android smartphone. You can play media from many hundred providers around the world including YouTube Music, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and several more with this feature.
