Pakistan IT Exports to Reaches 1.5 Billion in March 2021

The country's exports of Pakistan's IT have proved to be an improvement in its game as they rose by 58% in March 2021, compared with the same year earlier. Pakistan has gained $1298.080 million in the first 8 months of FY 2020-21, according to the statistics published by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). The growth in IT services rendered in the same period for the financial year 2019-20 amounted to 41,43%, up from $917,840 million.

During the first nine months of 2020-21, the exportation of $1,512 billion worth of technology goods was estimated at 35% of overall resources exported and an expansion of 44% year over year. Although the tech experts feel this rise in exports is due to increased freelancing in the course of Covid-19, Pakistan's valuation against the U.S. dollar and difference in legal flows from worldwide flight cancellations have also added to the growth in exports.

System Limited has been listed on Pakistan's stock exchange as one of the leading IT and commodity service providers with record annual all-time revenues of PKR 10 billion and a profit of PKR 2,1 billion.

Exports in computer services rose by 72.10% from 1.440 million dollars in this same timeframe to 2.480 million dollars. The exportations of telecoms services rose by 30,67 percent from 208,300 million dollars to 272,190 million dollars during the fiscal year 2020-21.
