Peshawar will become Pakistan's first Innovation Park for a new step in KPK's Silicon Valley

Thursday KPK Adviser to Zia Ullah Bangash, Chief Minister of Science and Technology, declared Pakistan's first innovation park as part of the digital strategy on KP 4.0 was being developed in Peshawar. The Park will have offices of different IT companies and allow numerous technology firms to determine and exchange know-how and expertise.

According to the KP 4.0 Connecting the Dots, the Minister says that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a ten-year vision for research, technology, and innovation aimed at aligning the demands and opportunities of the 4th industrial revolution and giving young people the best potential in the scientific and technological sector.

In the last few days, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received several "firsts." It was the first province to establish a crypto mine advisory committee, the first to legalize it, and the first to set up a Bitcoin mine. It was the first province to provide all its residents a universal health insurance program under the Sehat Insaf Card. The first to be a digital city and the first to build a motorsport arena in Pakistan.

If the launch of the latest innovation park project succeeds in encouraging emerging IT companies to set up KPK stores, it might mark the start of a new age in the field of IT and related technologies. KPK could be on its way to becoming Pakistan's silicon valley and cooperating with and increasing together with a similar cluster of closely associated startups.
