Twitter Professional Profiles to Help Businesses Gather New Clients

Twitter is working to improve the reliability and friendliness of its application for companies. Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, previously expressed his plans to make this app a corporate body. As Twitter has recently begun testing profiles that help companies present some facts about their activities to prospective clients, it seems like they are attempting to follow their competitor LinkedIn.

This would probably allow companies via Twitter to reach more consumers. Twitter Business shared a new profile appearance after the announcement of this new addition. A short definition was also added for users:

“Like our new look? Today we’re launching an exciting test of a new profile type called Professional Profiles!”

Although these facts were not sufficient to be understood, Twitter's product leader, Kayvon Beykpour, announced that companies would be able to identify themselves on the site using distinguished profile attributes for their accounts.

This means that companies will now display their address and position map below the following number. It helps them gather new clients when people know the name of companies and the place to visit. In addition, Twitter has shown that it will shortly introduce additional features specifically tailored for companies.

Nowadays. Twitter tests the Professional profile of just a few US residents and expects to roll out more extensively in the upcoming months.
