WhatsApp Plans for launching a transfer feature for iOS and Android users

WhatsApp would allow users to chat between Android and iOS operating systems according to a WABetaInfo report. Basically, the common messaging platform allows users to transfer their chat history from the two separate operating systems officially. This is fantastic news for a lot of users because when transferring data, they had to face several problems.

At present, if you are an Apple user who has moved to an Android device for whatever reasons, the chat history cannot be exported and imported without paying or using third-party applications that are contrary to WhatsApp's policy.

WhatsApp transfers your account information that includes your display image, names, information about, individual conversations, group chat, and settings, but doesn't move your chat history right now when you move from iOS devices to android devices.

But now, according to WABetaInfo, the users have good news.

WhatsApp has been identified as working on a new feature to allow iOS users to export chats. The latest update of the Android beta has shown that WhatsApp has a new chat import feature.

The most recent feature allows iOS users to export their chats, maybe in the form of an external file, which can then be loaded on Android devices and imported through WhatsApp. According to the article, once the multi-device feature of WhatsApp comes out the feature is supposed to be launched.
