Zimbabwe Announces Full Strength Squad Ready to Upset Pakistan Yet Again

In the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, Zimbabwe declared a 15-man team beginning 21 April.

In the forthcoming 3-match T 20i, Sean Williams will lead Zimbabwe, owing to the absence of a limited-over-captain Chamu Chibhabha, who also missed Afghanistan for an injury in the previous season.

After outstanding results at the domestic T20 tournament 3 uncapped players – batsman Tadiwanashe Marumani, pacer Tanaka Chivanga, and spinner Tapiwa Mufudza – received a maiden call-up.

After a loss of the last set of health problems against Afghanistan, the seasoned duo of Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine have returned to the team. Zimbabwe would get an immense lift from the participation of veterans. Luke Jongwe has returned to Zimbabwe for the last time, who played international crickets in January 2016.

Sikandar Raza will fail due to the upper arm wound, although all of them have been left out, including Richmond Mutumbami, Milton Shumba, Brandon Mavuta, Tarisai Musakanda, and Faraz Akram. But Musakanda, Ainsley Ndlovu, and Bradley Evans were standing.

The T20I series from Zimbabwe to Pakistan starts on 21 April and takes place at the Harare Sports Club behind closed doors.
