Zimbabwe Announces The Test Team Squad for Pakistan Series

In the two-match test series against Pakistan, Zimbabwe selected a 16-man team. The team was comprised of five uncapped players – Luke Jongwe, Richard Ngarava, Roy Kaia, Milton Shumba, and Tanaka Chivanga.

Brendan Taylor has made a comeback, and Craig Ervine drops because of a calf injury, who has missed Zimbabwe's last test series of Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates due to health issues.

Tendai Chisoro also won a reminder of his only test game in 2017. In the meantime, four players in the Zimbabwe team struggled this time to make a cut in except for Sikandar Raza, who recovered from a bone marrow infection last month.

Zimbabwe Test Squad:

Sean Williams (captain), Regis Chakabva, Tendai Chisoro, Tanaka Chivanga, Luke Jongwe, Roy Kaia, Kevin Kasuza, Wellington Masakadza, Prince Masvaure, Tarisai Musakanda, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava, Victor Nyauchi, Milton Shumba, Brendan Taylor, Donald Tiripano

The first test match is scheduled for 29 April – 3 May and will start in Pakistan at 12:30.
