Elon Musk drops from the world's first to the third richest thanks to one tweet

Elon Musk saw his net value fall by up to $34 billion over the last month, pushing him to the third richest people on the planet.

Musk's wealth currently stands at $146.7 billion, behind second-placed Bernard Arnault's ($180.1 billion), with Amazon's Jeff Bezos in top position ($187.5 billion) according to Forbes's Real-Time Billionaires List.

Musk lost his place as second richest in the world to Bernard Arnault, the top LVMH (Louis Vuitton), as the shares of Tesla Inc dropped 2.2 percent. This came in the middle of a global route of hardware stockpiles and new indications of difficulty in their Chinese operations last week.

The decline follows Musk's tweeting saying, "Tesla has suspended the purchase of vehicles with Bitcoin. We are concerned that Bitcoin Mining and transactions, especially coal, have the worst emissions from fuel, are increasingly using fossil fuels.'

Once this tweet was viral, BTC holders panic and fell into a panic because they were afraid of losing a big deal. This sent the world's well-known digital currency down, leaving Musk's ability to grasp the crypto-puzzle under shadows of uncertainty.

In March 2021, Elon Musk set an all-time high by himself by earmarking $25.1 billion in less than 24 hours. With this success, he has exceeded Jeff Bezos, momentarily on the richest list in the world until now. What are the odds that Musk has at the expense of endless cryptocurrency tweets?

Soon we will find out more.
