Federal Minister of IT in Islamabad Laid the Cornerstone for a new IT Park

Today, the cornerstone to the establishment of the new IT Park in Islamabad, with the participation of the South Koreans, was the federal minister for IT and Telecom Syed Amin ul Haq. The cost of the IT Park is around $13 billion. In the opening ceremony, Federal Minister Aminul Haq, Chairman Ali Jadoon of the IT Committee, the South Korean Ambassador, IT Secretary, and other top officials attended the opening ceremony in Islamabad.

The Federal IT Minister announced at the event that the IT Park will generate jobs for over 15,000 people once it is completed. Moreover, the minister said the government will get millions of dollars in money.

He said this is also a vital step towards accomplishing the vision of the Digital Pakistan Prime Minister. Chak Shehzad has 15 acres of state-of-the-art IT Park. South Korea will offer a 12-story IT park with soft credit, the minister reports.

For the people of Pakistan, this is excellent news. IT Park completion will boost IT exports and offer skilled workers with jobs. There will be around 120 small and medium-sized start-ups at the IT Park.

It is estimated that the project will be complete within 3 years. The Minister further said that Pakistan brings to fruition revolutionary reforms to the IT industry soon.

On the other side, at the event, the South Korean ambassador Swing Pyeo said that la cooperation con Pakistan sera mejorada en todos los ámbitos, incluido IT.
