Firdous Aashiq Awan Wants to be a Cricket Coach

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Punjab's Chief Minister (SACM), provided her country-wide cricket coaching services.

Dr. Firdous was invited as the lead guest for the opening of the Pakistan Super League franchise Women Player Development Program, Lahore Qalandars.

She said that this initiative would encourage young women cricketers to find new promising players for the future. She said that this program would benefit them.

She said, "An excellent women's cricket program was initiated by Lahore Qalandars. In comparison with India, Australia, and England Pakistani women are skilled cricketers. It helps to overcome this void. He is also a great cricket name, and wants Pakistan to be at the forefront of each sport."

"During my school days I used to play games, but coaching was not adequate at this time. I always know cricket, but there are also cricketers open to women in my coaching services," she said.

On a grassroots basis, Lahore Qalandars continues her excellent work. After Lahore Qalandars became the first PSL franchise to launch men hunting player talent scheme, he was the first to launch a women's cricket production program.

Their head trainer, Aaqib Javed, welcomed the franchise project and said: "Women cricketers in all major cities will be chosen for the trial. In women cricketers, there is no lack of potential. This curriculum provides them with enough instruction."
