KP Govt issues a new lockdown order for COVID-19

A new order for the COVID-19 lockdown was given on Saturday by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP )'s department at the end of Eidul Fitr.

The home department of the KP notified the company that day-to-day activities would resume from 17 May to 8 pm, but that there would be no time limit on medical services or the shops of goods and centers.

Both indoor and outdoor restaurants are banned except take away for food services.

Medical services, pharmacies, courier and postal services, electronics and gas, internet and mobile utilities, petrol stations, shops for basic products, food supply services have been removed from these banned by the provincial authorities.

The offices are allowed to open on a regular basis while public transit is permitted to exist in the normal operating procedures with a capacity of 50 percent (SOPs).

In view of COVID- 19 cases, which have recently risen alarmingly, the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has agreed to close down all colleges and universities until 23 May.

In his statement, government spokesman Kamran Khan Bangash Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the province would continue in the closure of public and private colleges and universities until 23 May. He added that there was also a notification in this regard.

The Provincial Government decided on the federal government's orders, the Spokesperson added, because of the deteriorating situation of coronavirus.
