In consideration of the changing coronavirus situation in the country, the University of Karachi (KU) has released new standard operating procedures (SOPs).

A notice from the university today reveals that no decision has yet been made to take face-to-face classes for the morning and evening shifts, but all the semester exams and the online sessions are scheduled.

The security, paramedic, and engineering staff at KU will remain on campus, but central and departmental libraries will remain closed down until further notice.

Meanwhile in Sindh, under strict observance of COVID-19 SOPs, public transport and commercial activities have started again.

In this regard, companies will operate five days a week from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to an announcement from the Sindh Home Department.

"For closed working days, Saturday and Sunday will be followed," the notice read.
