Adviser Abdul Rasszaq Dawood also reported the same in a Tweet sent Friday to the Prime Minister for Commerce, Textile, and Investment.

Amazon International Seller Services Vice President Eric Broussard has sent a letter to the Trade Consultant stating that Pakistani merchants are now qualifying for site sales.

Dawood had said earlier in May that after Amazon last year the government had been engaged. 'For our teens, SMEs and entrepreneurs, this is an excellent opportunity. The teamwork by many people around the world was a significant achievement in e-commerce strategy," he had said.

The decision by Amazon to register Pakistani companies was the result of significant efforts by the Ministry of Commerce and other people such as Badar Khushnood, who also disclosed that Pakistani workers working for Amazon had contributed to the decision-making of the giant.
