Pakistan Set to Receive Two Million Sputnik V Vaccine Doses

In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19, Pakistan requested Russia's two million doses of Sputnik V vaccine.

An agreement has been concluded according to the detail, and the first set of 200,000 doses will soon arrive in Pakistan.

Special aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will air the first delivery from Abu Dhabi to Pakistan of the Russian vaccine.

The Russian Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine, which will last for six months, is given in two shots, three weeks apart.

The 97,6 percent effective shot of the virus based on data obtained from 3,8 million people is according to one of the leading developers in Sputnik V vaccine, Russian scientist Denis Logunov.

The success rate of the Sputnik V trial, publishable in The Lancet journal, is more than 91.6%. The efficiency rate is the same.
