PCB Postpones PSL 2021 Yet Again

In view of operational problems, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed to postpone Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021's remaining matches.

The majority of the PCB league hosting matches in the UAE following a decision against Karachi as the venue was very uncertain. Due to the constantly poor COVID-19 situation in Pakistan, the remaining matches had to be held somewhere, and according to the sources, the PCB held discussions with the Emirates Cricket Board to organize the Dubai or Abu Dhabi League.

The league has already been postponed, which is a huge blow to the PCB. It is being reported.

The league had been scheduled to start on 1 June, but the way PCB works after this delay is to be seen. The chances of hosting the remainder of the 6th PSL edition look uncertain with many national tours and with this year's ICC T20 World Cup.

The league was postponed earlier on 4 March, after the COVID-19 positively tested by many players and staff in the bio-secure bubble.
