PITB to update citizen contact services of TEVTA through digitization

The Punjab information technology board (PITB) has signed a contract to upgrade TEVTA's customer services via the PITB Citizen Contact Centre (CCC), in accordance with a press release from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), TEVTA.

The agreement was signed with PITB President Azfar Manzoor and Arfa Software Technology Park Chairman TEVTA Ali Salman Siddique. The ceremony was attended by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, DG Procurement (TEVTA) Amir Aziz, and other senior staff from both companies.

According to the contract, the CCC would provide the general public with 9 AM to 5 PM service to address TEVTA-related queries, complaints, and suggestions. CCC is also providing a free 0800 83882 helpline. By means of this contract, TEVTA aims to address the concerns of young people to educate and empower them via technical and professional services provided by TEVTA. The CCC of PITB is the first G2C contact center to offer various services, such as SMS, Robocalls, and live agent calls. CCC offers several services, among others. CCC now provides services with TEVTA on board to 30 Punjab government departments.
