PSL Likely to Get Delayed Yet Again

In their search for the remaining matches in the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Abu Dhabi, Pakistan's Cricket Board (PCB) was another hurdle. The latest update further delays team departure without confirmation of their permission to go into the United Arab Emirates.

For the last four days, the teams have been in hotels in Lahore and Karachi since flights have been delayed three times in the last 36 hours. Further flight delays might have a major effect on window availability and the competition might face more delays.

The government of Abu Dhabi has also withdrawn permission to travel from India and South Africa, in addition to the list of problems of the PCB. Most members of the PSL broadcaster crew are from both nations, and there is great doubt about the competition in the latest update.

PCB urged the PSL franchises to make a decision on the status of the remainder of the season.
