PSL Set to Resume Despite Controversy On Venue

Pakistan Cricket Board has reported that the Government of the United Arab Emirates has provided outstanding approvals and exemptions for the 20 remaining Pakistan Super League matches in Abu Dhabi.

The PCB will now hold a web-based meeting with six franchise owners later this day to inform and complete all the information on the progress made.

Wasim Khan, Chief executive of PCB, said:

We are happy to see that the remaining difficulties have been resolved in Abu Dhabi to play the remaining PSL 6 matches and all the systems are good.

"We appreciate the support and patronage of the Government and National Disaster and Emergency Crisis Management Authority, the Emirates Cricket Board and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in trying to remove all the last obstacles that have firmly enabled us to conclude our marquee event."

"The PCB is working in contact with the team owners to finalize all arrangements relating to the event and to share details in due course."
