Ramiz Raja is looking forward to Shahnawaz Dahani's second test in Zimbabwe

Former Pakistani captain Ramiz Raja expects the second test against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club to provide new players with chances.

In the first test, Pakistan beat the hosts with 16 runs. Ramiz, 58, is hopeful of the inclusion of Shahnawaz Dahani.

"There should be an opening for new players. I'm looking forward to the second test match for [Shahnawaz] Dahani and to one or two other batting and bowling improvements," Ramiz said on his Youtube channel

"It will be a one-sided series and in three or four days Pakistan can finish the next match," he said.

Ramiz believes it would also be good for Pakistan to win the Test cricket against lower-ranking sides.

"In test cricket and winning matches, even if it is against Zimbabwe Pakistan is considered as a medium-scale group would give it confidence, and it is going to make the right headlines," he added.

In the meantime, Ramiz commended Hasan Ali and Fawad Alam for their magnificent performance.

"Pitch didn't really take up fast bowlers, but Hasan Ali bowled well and kept his shape. The same goes for Fawad Alam, who has had a big test match and who counts chances," he said.
