The Remaining matches of PSL6 likely to be held in UAE: PCB

The Cricket Board of Pakistan (PCB) and the six Pakistan Super League franchises (PSL) discussed on Friday to determine future action in respect of the remaining 20 PSL 6 matches.

The group had a discussion of 360. Input from the National Command and Operation Centre was also taken into account (NCOC).

The UAE was the favorite venue for the 20 matches that remained during the meeting. The PCB said that it will use the time to work with the Emirates Cricket Board for the purpose of determining whether the event will successfully be delivered in the available period, as the Pakistan cricket team is due to leave for the United Kingdom on 23 June.

"We had an interactive and fruitful meeting, in which a variety of aspects were considered, said PCB CEO, Wasim Khan. "While the UAE is a favorite place, there remain a number of difficulties that will be addressed in the next few days. We continue to do our utmost to complete the PSL 6."

The PCB has also said that it will focus on updated tournament plans as well as on the finalization of play and preparation equipment, hotel reservations, transfers by ground, and visas for visitors to the ECB.

The Board said that before the reporting of the franchises to the companies, the board would undertake a detailed financial and risk evaluation as well as cost analysis.
