Twitter Has Received More Users Due To The Pandemic

For the first quarter of 2021, Twitter recently reported revenues and stressed the company's growth since the pandemic in progress. According to the estimates, the number of regular active users of Twitter has increased by 199 million, which is basically 20% from the previous 166 million.

In the first quarter, this resulted in an increase in revenues of $1.04 billion, up 28 percent from the previous $68 million. Despite the loss of Twitter last year of $8 million, the company appears to have come back tremendously.

The COVID-19 pandemic situation, where all kinds of news was mixed across the platform, has led to this development. Moreover, Twitter had to implement some safeguards to alleviate the problem because of the dissemination of false vaccine news. The corporation has nevertheless forecast that the growth rate will not be as high as 2020, which means a decline in active users.
