Aleem Dar Registers Another Record to His Name

In 50 matches Pakistan's Super League (PSL), Aleem Dar, Pakistan's elite umpire, was the first umpire to hold officiate. Dar won the feat of Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars in the ongoing PSL 6 match.

In the majority of the tests, the 55-year old also had 132 matches over 21 years. He stood in moreover 500 international matches, a record in most matches as well.

Dar made his international debut in 2000 at his hometown of Gujranwala in a match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Today, the former ruling elite form part of the ICC Elite Panel of the umpire and are to be seen as officiating in the remainder of the sixth PSL. In 10 other matches, including the playoffs and the tournament final, he will take part.
