Facebook Plans First Smartwatch with Dual Cameras

According to a recent report, Facebook aims to enter the smartwatch field. The first smartwatch by social media giant Facebook will seem to be built up of two removable cameras, which are then shared by the users on the app, including Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which is suitable for capturing photos and videos.

The cameras in front and the back are in a stylish Facebook smartwatch case in stainless steel. Probably the front camera is used for video chats, and 1080p content can be captured in the back camera for autofocus. The smartwatch also has everything health-related and fitness monitoring, including heart monitoring.

Facebook Watch expects great LTE connectivity to work independently of smartphones. Colours, white, black and gold will come with this smartwatch. The wearable debut will be in 2022 for $400, which it is expected to pay. Facebook has apparently contacted third parties to produce goods compatible with watch detachable cameras, such as backpacks and cases.

The planned wearable is Facebook's first step towards releasing specific hardware for the wrist and establishing another Apple rivalry at a time when the two technology titans already compete on other fronts. Apple has actively limited its position as a data protector, and for years, via data management controversies, Facebook has been under assault. This dynamic may lead to rivalry with Facebook and motivate users to purchase their next Apple Watch competitor, particularly given the fitness centre will also be positioned with a heart rate monitor.

Although Facebook did not provide official information on the likely release of its first smartwatch, it might be released around the summer of 2022.
