Former Captain of South African Explain How PSL is Better Than Other Leagues

South African cricketer Star, Faf du Plessis, is 'blossomed' in the Pakistan Super League by the quality and the number of fast bowlers (PSL).

PSL is famous for producing quality fast bowlers, Du Plessis said, preparing to play for the Quetta Gladiators in the remaining matches of the 6th season. The Indian Premier League has produced spinners of the world-class.

"The production of fast bowlers of quality is famous as Pakistan. I am shocked to see at least three fast bowlers from each PSL team that can bowl over 140kph. Coming from a country like South Africa, I was shocked to find the number of people that can bowl 140-plus in the tournament. When you are batting with many pacers. There's also a batting talent, but it stands out fast bowling."

The IPL has a big spin bowling ability, on the other hand. India has many spinners, he said, that can play worldwide.

The former skipper of Protease commented on living in bio-secured bubbles and said bio-bubbles have become a norm, and the continuation of sports depends upon that.

"It's a reality, and that can't be ignored by anyone. So we should, in reality, thankful to governments and organisers from all over the world who arrange for us to play the game."

He added players should fulfil their duties and follow the SOPs to protect themselves and others safe.

"I have been under quarantine with my family and two kids for seven days in Abu Dhabi. Believe me, managing the kids in one room is more difficult than facing a new ball in a test match," said Du Plessis.
