Honor 50 Phones Are Coming on June 16

Since April, we have talked about the Honor 50 series and finally confirmed its debut date by the Chinese brand. The line-up in Shanghai, China, will be official on June 16.

Honor has also posted a teaser video on Weibo that talks about no specifications but showcases the main camera design for the Honor 50 dual-ring.

We have yet to have a full Honor 50 spec sheet; however, the company has confirmed several phone features. A Snapdragon 778G SoC power the basic Honor 50, while the pro model features the same chip. However, the Honor 50 Pro+ is the only one in the series powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip.

The Master Lu benchmark showed that the Honor 50 Pro+ has an AMOLED 6.79-inch display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120hz. The system is supported by 8GB of LPDDR5 Ram, 128GB of UFS 3.1 and 4,400 mAh of wired battery and 50W Wireless.

In addition to a 13 MP ultra-wide, 8 MP telephoto and a 3D ToF sensor, the main camera setup consist of a 50 MP sensor. A combination of 32MP wide and 8MP ultrawide cameras will be used for the dual front camera.
