Martin Guptill Reveals His Batting Position for Karachi Kings

Kiwi Opener, Martin Guptill, has been one of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6's leading international players. In the replacement draft, he was taken up by the champions in defense, Karachi Kings, who would hopefully fir all cylinders when the tournament begins to resume.

He is willing to fight for any position the team manager requires, and his main goal is to score runs to help the team's victories. Guptill is mostly an opener for the New Zealand side.

"My aim is my side to run. I don't sure where the management will play me, but my aim will be to run anywhere I play. I was working very hard on the net. After the end of our quarantine we also have a nice opportunity to train in Abu Dhabi," said Guptill.

Karachi, who is 34 years old, believes he has a strong team and the potential to be the first team to defend its title in PSL history. Guptill said the team works hard on the nets and is ready to go once the tournament begins.

The hard opener also highlighted that the players find it difficult to play in hot conditions, and the tournament conditions would be a real test for the international players. He said he took plenty of beverages for moisturizing and eliminating the possibility of cramps.

He also commended Pakistan's all-format Capitan, Babar Azam, and said that although naming his Pakistani legends, Younis Khan and Yousuf, his favorite Pakistani batsmen, Babar is his favorite.
