Punjab Education Ministry to introduce Summer Holidays in Two Weeks

As the exceptionally hot conditions continue to affect pupils and instructors, Punjab's Education minister made a comment on the summer holidays as a breath of fresh air.

Minister Raas stated during a Press Conference in Lahore on Friday that the province's summer holiday will be announced in two weeks.

The provincial administration is aware of the problems students are facing due to extreme weather conditions. He remarked.

'The government will take action in an extreme scenario,' he stated and adding that the Government modified the time schedule for all schools to prevent heavy weather at 12 noon. The government will do this.

"Schools are to be opened by continuing heatwave on Monday from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Several pupils in Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot were feverish owing to excessive heat, and some were brought for treatment to the hospital. The events caused the authorities to modify the timetable of the school.

"We'll give them examinations and offer them holidays. For two consecutive years, it is improper to advance students without exams," Raas stated.

He claimed that the curricular were cut to offset the academic losses caused by school closures during the third coronaviral pandemic. In addition, just selected subjects will be examined.
