Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 LTE Variant Get FCC Certification

We recently revealed that in August Samsung would start its device number. The Galaxy Z Flip3, Fold3, and Watch 4 may be included. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Active 4 will be launched by Samsung as well. Instead of Samsungs' custom Tizen OS, the upcoming Samsung smartwatches will run Android. The Galaxy Watch 4 LTE visited the FCC website before its availability. Let's look at the specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 shown in the FCC list.

The model number SM-885U appears first of all. The Galaxy Watch 4's FCC listing displays its different LTE bands. In addition, Bluetooth, NFC, 2.4GHz/5GHz, and several LTE bands are available. The list also shows the model number of the battery (EB-BR880ABY).

More interestingly, a wireless charger is mentioned in the list (EP-OR825). That means 5W wireless charging can be supported by the Watch. The launch date of Samsung's new smartwatch has still not been announced. However, recent sources say that Samsung is set to release the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch Active4 on August 11 before the two smartphones.

In the coming days, we will certainly receive more information on the devices.
