Students of Islamabad School to be promoted without annual examinations

Students in classes Prep through 7 are allowed to give up the yearly tests for the next classes at schools in the federal capital.

Each student will have four formative/classroom assessment by topic, and each assessment will be worth 25 marks for a total of 100. According to the announcement published by the Federal Directorate of education (FDE). These evaluations will be kept in school records that their heads will verify.

This statement was issued by the FDE through the communication entitled 'Class I to VIII Promoting Policy for the 2020-21 Academic Session.'

The exams will be administered personally by the heads of the institutions concerned in accordance with the consolidated date sheet, and for each topic, the minimum pass percentage has been decreased to 35 percent for each academic year alone.

Class VIII results are released on 30 or 31 July, while summer holidays take place in the years between 18 July and 1 August.
