The Reopening date for universities in Pakistan is announced by Govt

On-campus activities under rigorous COVID-19 SOPs from 7 June, universities all throughout the nation were permitted to resume activities, Shafqat Mahmood, the Federal Minister of Education, confirmed.

In response to a Twitter student, the Education Minister stated that it is authorised from Monday to open all universities in the country.

In March this year, institutions were shut down as the number of COVID-19 cases in the country rose sharply.

Originally planned for reopening on 24 May. The administration decided, however, to prolong its shutdown until 7 June.

One day earlier, Shafqat Mahmood was president of the IPEC to complete the registration pattern and intermediate examinations, which began in the country after 10 July.

To facilitate it, IPEMC chose to solely examine selected subjects of matrics and between pupils.
