Canadian University Provides Scholarships to Honor survivors of Islamophobic Attack

Two new bursaries in memory of late Madiha Salman and Salman Afzaal (his husband) have been announced by Western University of Ontario, Canada, on June 6th, victims of a fatal assault.

To honor and remember their pairs in embracing inclusion, rise time, and developing their community, the university has introduced the 'Salman Madiha Memorial Scholarship in Civil and Environmental Engineering as well as the 'Sal-00man Afzaal. Memorial Backstory in Start figuring Therapy.'

Basically, a full-time female student with a Ph.D. or an MA from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering will be eligible for the Madiha Salman Scholarship, with her research goals on environmental engineering.

"Madiha has always firmly believed in inclusion as a Muslim and this prize is thus accessible to students who advocate the integration of all races and religions." A source for Madiha's family said.

The Salman Afzaal Scholarship will be either a Ph.D. student or a Masters in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences for a full-time graduate student.

The president of Western University, Alan Shepard, said that the couple's family will be offering comfort and commemoration through these awards.
