Govt Staf and Pensioners get Next Salary before Eid-ul-Azha

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the federal government decided to release all officials in advance the salaries and allowances/pensions of July.

The Finance Ministry issued Tuesday addresses on the payment and allowances/pensions disbursed for July 2021 for all federal government servants and pensioners in advance, to Accountant General Pakistan Revenues, Military Accountant General Rawalpindi and Chief Accountant Minister Muslimabad, on the Eids of the Azha disbursements.

Note-4 of the Rule-217 of the Treasury Rules is required to provide a warning that if the Eid-ul-Azha festival occurs within the final ten days of one month, the festival officials and pensioners who are observing it may be paid in advance of that month's pay.

The advance is not to be paid before 5 days before the event date.

On July 20 or 21, 2021, Eid-ul-Azha will be held (depending upon the sighting of the Moon). If Eid-ul-Azha is held on 21 July 2021, it is relevant to state that the rule above applies.

The request was, therefore, that on July 16, 2021, the payment of the federal Government officials and retirees in respect of salary and pension may be graciously made, provided that the Eid-ul-Azha is complied with on July 21, 2021. The request was submitted by the Commission.
