Huawei Works on a 90W smartphone for fast charging

After Xiamoi Huawei's next significant technological business focuses on a new high-speed smartphone. Huawei's newest mobile phone will also be supported by 90W Fast Charging, the first fast-charging smartphone of the Chinese technology giant.

The storey has been uploaded on the Chinese microblog-making site, Weibo, online earliest today (12 July 2021). At the moment, Huawei is the quickest battery charger on the brand with a charging rate of 66W on a smartphone, which is Mate 40 Pro. The future Huawei P50, while the exact battery specifications for forthcoming smartphones with 90W fast charging still aren't apparent, may provide the same or superior fast charging technology.

120W is currently the fastest recharge available in commercial production on Black Shark's 4Pro and iQOO's 7 devices. This information is unfortunately unchecked, so take this report from Huawei with a pinch of salt. This also demonstrates that the company's Research & Development smartphone activities has not ending despite US punishments which have essentially disrupted the supply chain and shut off the TSMC chip supply. We must wait for further details and Huawei's formal release.
